PedalYard™, a South Florida company dedicated to teaching families with young children between the ages of 2 and 6 years old how to ride bikes, is thrilled to announce a special "Learn to Ride" event at Bright Horizons in Boynton Beach
Saturday, August 31st, from 9:00 am to 11:00 am.

This event will provide families an unforgettable opportunity to learn how to teach their children the joy and independence of riding a bike for the first time. PedalYard™ coaches work with families to make sure the process is fast, safe, and most importantly a life-long bonding memory for child and parent alike.
Research by a variety of sources, such as the Harvard University’s Center on the Developing Child and this study shared by the National Library of Medicine, show that the first five years of a child's life are vital for developing essential social, cognitive, emotional, and physical abilities. These early skills are strongly connected to future educational success, overall productivity, long-term health, and more. By focusing on these formative years, parents can help their children thrive mentally—such as by quickly acquiring new skills—and physically, leading to improved coordination, balance, posture, and even growth.
This event is just one of many ways PedalYard™ is helping families across Florida and beyond. Just last weekend, PedalYard™ showcased their service at the Key Biscayne Police and Fire Rescue’s Public Safety Day.
“It’s always an amazing experience to see families come to us struggling only to leave dancing from joy of success,” said PedalYard™ Founders Marc and Susan Abrams. “Learning to ride a bike early is an incredible skill, and a love for physical activity is key to a healthy life and future not only for kids, but for adults as well!”
With “Pop-Up” locations in South Florida and Orlando, PedalYard™ plans to expand nationwide in the coming months while making bike riding accessible and enjoyable for all children (and even teens and adults who did not learn to ride when they were younger).
